Circa 1930s and raised high upon visually striking, heavily carved cabriole legs, this stunning Queen Anne style cocktail cabinet has been fully restored and redesigned to create a truly unique piece.
Eala’s outer frame and interior have been tastefully transformed with a beautifully patterned paper and finished in Wellington from the Fusion Mineral Paint range. To draw the eye closer, her dome shaped top with carved pediment, her apron on all three sides, and her delicate acanthus leaves have all been finished with gold gilding wax.
Redesigned by Primas Siren’s Serenity has been applied to the doors and drawers, with the design carried onto the outer sections of both through hand painting, giving a continuous and complete finish across the fronts. This brings together the calm of the sea and the grace of the swan in one breathtaking transformation.
Eala's upper section features a mirrored interior with glass shelving and base, two under top wine glass racks, an internal light, and a pull out slide for mixing and serving cocktails. Beneath, a pair of drawers reveal felt lined bases, painted dovetails, and generous storage.
Eala has a cinematic quality, a statement piece that could grace a movie set and captivate all who see her. Like all creations from MD Serendipity Designs, she is one of a kind. There will never be another quite like her, so claim her before she’s gone.
